FREE PROGRAMMING CLASSES FOR KIDS AND TEENAGERS(7-18YRS)

As we adjust to the new life patterns during the COVID-19 pandemic we felt it was part of our responsibility to help keep our kids and teenagers ,who are at home busy,creative and develop programming skill sets.We have selected various platforms to help us achieve this.

Gaming platforms we intend to use include :

1. Scratch
2. Blocky
3. Stencyl
4. Minecraft

Classrooms platforms we will use to facilitate learning include:

1. Slack
2. Google classrooms

The classes will approximately run for a minimum of 3 weeks depending on the students learning pace.The curriculum will have weekly projects for each student to apply a specific topic provided by their technical mentors.

Programming skills gained from this contents will help boost students interest to programming,help students practice computational skills and help improve logical thinking.

The platforms we have incorporated will help students share their projects with students from all over the world as well as see projects from the other students this will greatly help students have a global mindset when working on their projects.
